These terms are an agreement between you and Anthony Oxendine ("we", "us"), the seller of xoras-sentry. By using xoras-sentry or continuing to use this site, you agree to these terms. If you use it for an organization, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it, and you must be of legal age.

The service

xoras-sentry is a secret scanner that runs on your own machine. Paid plans (Pro and Team) add features such as GitHub checks for private projects, custom rules, reports and a team dashboard.

Licence

We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use xoras-sentry within your chosen plan. You may not resell or redistribute paid features, get around plan limits, or reverse engineer paid parts of the service. The free scanner's source code is covered by the licence in its GitHub project.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, including using it unlawfully, for fraud or spam, to infringe anyone's intellectual property, or to interfere with security (malware, probing, scraping). Keep your account details private; you are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your information accurate.

Ownership

We keep all rights to xoras-sentry, its software, documentation and branding. Your code stays yours and is never uploaded by the local scanner.

Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, renewal and cancellation terms are set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms.

No guarantee

We work hard to keep xoras-sentry reliable, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or catch every secret. To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" without implied warranties.

Liability

Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or data. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access for a serious breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. When access ends, paid features stop working; the local scanner keeps no data of yours with us.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will post changes here. These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Anthony Oxendine is based.
